Scientific Attitudes

The success of science has more to do with an attitude common to scientists that with a particular method. This attitude is one of the inquiry, experimentation, and humility before the facts. To expound on these attitudes, here are some inputs;

* Some important characteristics of a good scientists: interest, curiosity, objectivity, flexibility, openness, creativity.

* It means studying the nature and laws of things rather than talking those things for granted.

* The most important quality a scientists should possess is to be inquisitive. Next would be patience and persistence.

* A good scientist needs to have an enquiring mind, and should question everything he/she is told.
